Our original Chatfield cane reimagined with a sleek carbon-fiber body. It's stealthy, lightweight and perfect for covert operations, or gentle walks to the grocery store.
The soft silicone covered handle has a distinct upturned nose which is comfortable to hold and intuitively positions the hand directly over the composite shaft. This unique detail also allows the cane to rest against a wall effortlessly for quick access; it can be propped up on its nose or side, without the cane slipping or falling over as easily as generic canes often do.
Some people call it a tip but we call it a shoe. The unique tread pattern design is inspired by sneaker soles, and is compression-molded in a durable, slip-resistant rubber material. Our cane tips are replaceable, sleek and work great in a range of different conditions.
No I didn’t hike with my stick. I will say that I feel on top of the world when I’m walking with it though. Plus as an expat hoser I’m proud that it’s made in Canada
This walking stick made me feel incredibly supported. I finally felt like I could walk around independently and still be chic. I am heartbroken that just a week in and it broke in half. This was a purchase that I long-awaited and am saddened to have to give up so soon.
I have it already for years,.. very happy with this beautiful and very good cane. Cost a bit but brings a lot :-) I had it shipped to the Netherlands and hope it is already available in the EU
Its perfect. I regret not buying it before.
I was a little hesitant to order one of the new walking sticks as they are now being made from carbon fiber (I had a bad experience with another manufacturers carbon fiber cane). I preferred the old design solid walnut cane. After talking to Mark at T&D, I decided to give it a go. I am totally floored by the design of this one. It feels solid and heavy (in fact it is heavier than my Oak and Walnut canes and nearly as heavy as an Irish Blackthorn cane that I have). The XL is a nice height for me at 5ft 10. I like that the rubber shoe is larger and goes over the entire width of the stick. But a little wide shoe would allow for better grip when things are wet. But all in all, I really am very happy I purchased it. Mike
