Our classic Chatfield cane design has been reborn. This new and improved version is more durable and now features a lightweight, carbon-fiber body.
The iconic and award-winning form of the Chatfield handle endures. The soft silicone grip has a distinct upturned nose which is comfortable to hold and intuitively positions the hand directly over the shaft. This unique detail also allows the cane to rest against a wall effortlessly for quick access; it can be propped up on its nose or side, without the cane slipping or falling over as easily as generic canes often do.
We've merged traditional craft and modern composite technology with this updated hybrid version of our classic walking stick. A thin layer of premium walnut wood veneer is laminated to the surface of the carbon-fiber tubular shaft and then finished with a resilient clear matte coating.
Some people call it a tip but we call it a shoe. The unique tread pattern design is inspired by sneaker soles, and is compression-molded in a durable, slip-resistant rubber material. Our cane tips are replaceable, sleek and work great in a range of different conditions.
I have to walk with a cane occasionally because of my arthritis. I really looked for a cane that is not only functional, but looked better than the medical supply store options. Like the way the silicone grip feels and it helps to keep it from sliding down when you lean it against the wall.
I was Dx with Multiple Sclerosis on the morning of my 29th birthday in May of 2009. I believe it was 2013 when my doctor said I needed to start using a cane. I was too embarrassed to use it for a long time, first because of my pride… second because the cane I was RXd was a flowered aluminum abomination. I don’t know how I found Top and Derby, but I am so glad I did! I purchased your Medium 24” limited edition MS orange cane. It works splendidly with my 5’6 frame. I only wish I bought extra orange shoes for it, so I could switch them out when needed. This cane is built to last! I have ran over it at least 4 times and it barely has a mark on it.
